Frank J. Sabo, Jr. CPA, MST—Founder, Owner
Frank J. Sabo, Jr. is the Owner of Sabo CPA Professional Corporation, a firm he founded in 1985. He is passionate about helping his clients resolve their tax issues—no matter how big or small.
Frank enjoys working with small businesses, offering a variety of services, from budget and cash flow to capital expenditure and project analysis. Some of Frank’s recent client activities include:
- Helping a client with tax planning and preparation
- Supporting a client during an IRS audit
- Offering payroll tax problem resolution
- Filing prior years’ returns
Frank is a licensed CPA in Massachusetts. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Massachusetts Society of CPAs. He is a Platinum member of the Tax Rep Network, a member of the American Society of Tax Problem Solvers, and a past certified member of the Institute of Divorce Financial Analysts.
Prior to starting his own firm, Frank worked for one of the largest CPA firms, Coopers & Lybrand (now Price Waterhouse Coopers). Additionally, he spent the early part of his career in various accounting positions in the hospitality industry in Vail, Colorado and Lake Tahoe, Nevada for Caesars World Inc.
Frank earned a Master’s Degree in Taxation from Bentley College (now University) Graduate Tax Program and a Bachelor’s of Science in Accounting from the University of Connecticut.
When he’s not working, Frank is an avid follower of all things sports. A passionate outdoor sporting enthusiast, he enjoys working with his English Setter bird dogs, fishing, kayaking, and hiking. Health and fitness-related activities are a big part of his lifestyle. He travels to Colorado, usually in the summer months due to tax season, to enjoy family, friends, and the outdoors. When not in Massachusetts, he can be found working and enjoying Maine.
